~ Submission Guidelines~
◆ PROJECT THEME
While there is no theme to this mural it should be noted that Downtown Valdosta & the City Center Arts District focuses on art that is bright, bold, progressive, contemporary, inspirational, interactive and can include symbolism of our community and or Downtown district or not. Because this is a public art mural, submissions that are not family friendly, too mature in nature or convey any political overtones will not be considered.
Paint that is for outdoor use and is acceptable for application on stucco, plaster and metal surfaces
The mural will be painted on a exterior wall on Bennie's Alley in Downtown Valdosta
not to exceed 50' x 14' (usage of wall space is left up to artists)
-Art submissions until close of business on 9/16/2020
-Artist will be selected and notified no later than 10/01/2020
- Artists may begin work as soon as notified of acceptance & paint type is verified
-Artist must have work completed by agreed upon date
Artist will supply their own supplies, tools, equipment or anything else that might be needed to complete the project. You will need to submit your compensation requirements along with your mural rendering

Please include all contact information as well as a scaled rendering of your proposed work. If you have completed any large scale murals or public art pieces, please include those for reference.
