THE PEEPLES BUILDING

The main entrance of the Peeples Building faces Patterson Street today, but originally the main entrance was on Central Avenue. The building was constructed circa 1885 by Judge Richard Augustus Peeples. This building exhibits many features of a commercial building during the Victorian era.T
The Peeples building now houses Kings Grill.The menu changes daily with a variety of meats and fresh vegetables including meatloaf, country fried steaks, fried chicken (daily), chicken and rice and much more. King’s Grill also serves a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches, including the famous triple-decker club. All desserts are made in-house from mama’s old fashioned recipes.
